TOMPKINS

Anne Marczak Tompkins, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on August 4, 2022, just weeks away from her 100th birthday. A celebration of life and burial will be held Sept. 11 &12 ^th .

She was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa and was a long time resident of Chester, Pa. She is preceded in death by her husband William Joseph Tompkins; her parents Marjanna (Pielka) and Jozef Marczak; her brothers Frank, Walter, Thomas, and Stanley Marczak.

She is survived by her six children Marlene Tompkins (James Pyne), Thomas (Nancy) Tompkins, Catherine Tompkins, Lorraine Tompkins (Kevin Moriarty), Marian (John) Peticca, Joseph (Terri) Tompkins. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She lived a very active and healthy life until a fall a few weeks before her death. She was devoted to her family and stressed education, hard work, optimism, and moderation. She loved her faith and also her casino.
