Barbara Anna (Wojewodka) Ostapowicz, 60, widow of Waldemar and beloved Mother and Babcia, died peacefully after a valiant 4 year fight with cancer on July 16, 2016 in the comforts of her own home. Barbara was born in London in 1956 before emigrating with her parents to Long Island where she resided until she graduated from Hofstra University with her Masters Degree in Accounting. She worked as a CPA, was an avid supporter, member, and past treasurer of the Polish Scouting Organization, and a dedicated lector at St. Hedwig's Church. Barbara enjoyed dancing, especially Polish Folk, reading, and solving all of the puzzles in the daily newspaper. She is survived by her sister, Lidia (Michael) Manieri, her sons, Robert (Kelly) and Edward (Meghan) Ostapowicz, and step-grandchild, Aubree. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewings at Kaniefski - Kendus - D'Anjolell Memorial Home in Trainer on Friday 7-9 PM and Saturday 8:30-9:30 AM, funeral mass at St. Hedwig's, Fourth and Hayes Streets in Chester Saturday at 10 AM, followed by interment at Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown.
