Denise, age 53 of Trainer, PA on May 15, 2017.

Beloved daughter of Barbara A. (nee Fitzgerald) Rivera and the late Joseph A. Rivera.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary E. Rivera and her paternal grandmother, Mary I. Rivera.

Survived by her brother, Joseph A. III and her sister Valerie Madara (Tom), nieces and nephews;
Gideon Cline Rivera, Myranda Potts, Charles and Alexander Madara and Melinda and Wyatt Willett.

Denise was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Holy Myrrh- Bearer's Eastern Catholic Church. She loved Arts & Crafts and making special gifts for family and friends.
Denise worked as a Social Worker in Health Care and was a Chaplain for Abington Hospital in the Trauma Dept. She participated in at least 2 bicycle marathons in Philadelphia, involving the Manayunk Wall as well as bicycled across parts of Europe.

Relatives and friend are invited to her Viewing on Saturday, 9:00 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Holy Myrrh-Bearer's Eastern Catholic Church, 900 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore, PA 19081. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery.
