Obituary

Jack G. Ostrander, age 89, of Glen Riddle, PA, died of dementia on January 23, 2018. A Veteran of the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War, he returned and worked over 30 years for Sun Shipbuilding as a Supervisor of Marine Paints. Jack had a love of history, especially the Civil War, enjoyed reading, doing Suduko and Cryptograms and was a Pinochle card shark in his earlier years. His beloved Lionel Trains, and family trips to the Outer Banks of North Carolina kept him happy in his later years.

Beloved husband of Shirley M. (nee Painton), loving father of Linda S. Ostrander and Joyce A. Murray, dear brother of Beverly Long, Norma Dagen and the late Cynthia Woodcock. Grandfather of Joseph R. Ostrander and Amy J. Murray-Boyd, and 3 Great Grandchildren with one on the way.
