Lillian Kucheruk, 97, of Springfield, PA passed away on January 8, 2024, beloved wife of the late George Kucheruk. She was born in Chester Springs, PA to the late Onofrey and Tekla (nee Bobiak) Chawaga. She was raised in Chester, PA and graduated from Chester High School.

She is survived by her two sons, George Jr. (Jan) and Stephen (Paulette) five grandchildren, Susan Giovannone, Janet Gallagher, Brett Kucheruk, Mitchell Kucheruk, Emile Kucheruk; eight great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

As well as being a homemaker, her hobbies included bowling, embroidery, reading, and on avid supporter of the Ukrainian American club, and a contributor to the Ukrainian Church functions and organizations.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 2412 W. 3rd St, Chester, PA 19017

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing prior to church services on Saturday, January 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00am. at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Interment will be at Lawn Croft cemetery, 1000 Ridge Rd, Linwood, PA 19061.
