Marie, (nee Ruzowicz), age 103 years, passed away on March 16, 2017 at Naaman's Creek Country Manor. She was formerly of Lutheran Knolls, Boothwyn, PA, and Chester, PA.
Born January 17, 1914 in Chester, she was a lifetime member of St. Hedwig's church and attended Chester Schools.

Beloved wife of the late Walter and loving mother of Bonita "Bonnie" Chism (Ted), and the late Barbara Hester. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren; Bonnie Jean Rochester (Dan) and Gerald Scott Hester (Tina), her 3 great-grandchildren and her son-in-law, Gene Hester, who helped in Marie's care.

Marie worked as a Hairdresser and owned shops on Morton Ave. in Chester and Keystone Road in Buchman Village. She was active in Chester Senior Center and was devoted to her home and family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, bingo, cards, gardening and crafts, walking and trips to various casinos to play slot machines.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday, 8 AM-9:45 AM at the Kaniefski, Kendus and D'Anjolell Funeral Home, 3900 W. 9th St., Trainer, PA 19061. Funeral Mass St. at 10:30 AM at Hedwig's Church, 2623 W. 4th St., Chester, PA 19013. Interment Immaculate Heart of May Cemetery, 1701 Market St., Marcus Hook, PA 19061.
