Michael Walter Czarnota "Mike", age 52, passed away on September 9th at his home in New Castle, DE. Mike was born in Chester, PA, raised in Wilmington and resided there until moving to New Castle 2 years ago. He was a graduate of the New Castle County School District and their votech program, Del Castle. Mike was a longtime employee for Franklin Fiber where he was a machinist. He was an avid fisherman, loved Nascar and BBQ grilling, and was a sports fan. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Bernard (2000) and Pamela (2014), and his brother, James R. Czarnota (2016). He is survived by his siblings, Pamela R. Small (Craig) of Aston, PA, Wayne S. Czarnota (Anne) of Puerto Rico, Bernard A. Czarnota (Nancy) of Elkton, MD, and Donna Julian (George) of Newark, DE, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and his aunts, Sister Patricia Ann Czarnota OSF, Janet Czarnota, and Jeanne Czarnota (his Godmother). Family and friends are invited to Mike's calling from 9am to 11am Friday, September 16th at the Kaniefski - Kendus - D'Anjolell Memorial Home, 3900 West Ninth Street, Trainer, PA, where as an 11am funeral service will be held. Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
